ERIE, Pa. — Hilbert Women's Bowling earned a 2nd-place finish in the 2025 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Baker Round Robin Tournament this weekend, the highest finish in any two-day tournament in program history.  AFter all the tie breakers were sorted out, Hilbert took a 4th place finish for ranking purposes.

The Hawks recorded a 941-881 victory against Saint Vincent College, the program's first against the Bearcats since the 2020-21 season but then suffered an 861-808 loss to Penn State Behrend.  

After yesterday's impressive total pin fall average, the Hawks showed up with purpose today and improved it to 874.5 today, 3.5 points better than SVC and PSB.

With the split-series today, Hilbert finished the tournament at 4-2 securing a 2nd place tie with William Smith and Penn State Behrend as Saint Vincent went 5-1.

After six baker games this weekend, William Smith led with a 182.6 baker game average, followed closely by Saint Vincent College (182.4).  Hilbert trailed in third place with a 174.6 average.

Julia Stutz, Jenna Angle, Paige Angle and Brooklyn Hannah rolled all 20 frames today, while Jenna Angle led with a team-high 18.6 baker average.

Hilbert returns to WNY next weekend and will host the program's first two-day tournament November 22 and November 23 at Classic Lanes in Kenmore.  Daemen University, D'Youville University, Merrimack University, Mercyhurst University, Niagara University, Roberts Wesleyan University, Saint Vincent College and William Smith will be joining the Hawks for the first roll at 11:55 am this coming Saturday.
