HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Hilbert College Men's Volleyball extended it's win streak after taking a 3-0 win on the road at Houghton University tonight.
The Hawks and Highlanders had a competitive first match, but Hilbert stacked multiple runs together in the second and third sets to earn the non-conference victory.
With the win tonight, Hilbert stretched their hold over the Highlanders with an undefeated 3-0 record, all straight set victories.

NEWS and NOTES
7 pm vs Houghton Highlanders
- Hilbert finished the three-set match with 31 kills (15 errors) and a .186 attack percentage while the Highlanders collected 23 kills (23 errors) with a .000 attack performance
- The Hawks collected seven blocks, five service aces, 26 assists and 42 digs.
- Brad Converse and Tyler Hassell recorded nine kills each while Converse tacked another career ace to this total and Hassell added two solo blocks as well as two block assists.
- Jacob Sehn led the defense with eight digs, Justin Veal scored three service aces and George Muriel dished 22 assists in the victory.
UP NEXT
The Hawks will make their first appearance in the Hafner Recreation Center next Tuesday, February 4 when they welcome Elmira University to the campus for a 7 pm first serve.
