ERIE, Pa. – Hilbert College Men's Volleyball opened the 2025 spring season with a 3-0 loss to Thiel College in the opening day of the President's Athletic Conference (PAC) vs Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) cross-over weekend inside the Junker Center at Penn State Behrend.
Hilbert relied on a pair of veteran starters from a year ago, but Thiel benefited from three previous games played this month to pull out the win.

NEWS and NOTES
- Hilbert finished the three-set match with 24 kills (17 errors) and a .085 attack percent while the Tomcats finished with 41 kills (13 errors) and a .337 attack percent.
- The Hawks collected two blocks, one service ace, 21 assists and 26 digs.
- Brad Converse led with seven kills off 23 attempts and recorded the Hawks only service ace while adding five digs. Tyler Hassell was effective with six kills, one error (.455) at the net.
- Jacob Sehn finished with 16 assists while Michael Pozzuto led with six digs
UP NEXT
Hilbert returns to the Junker Center tomorrow for their first back-to-back series of the season. The Hawks will face Geneva at 2pm then turn around and battle Chatham University at 4pm.
