Mount Aloysius College travels to Hamburg, NY on Saturday to take on Hilbert College in the AMCC Men's Basketball Game of the Week.
 

Mount Aloysius enters Saturday's game with a 3-3 conference record, led by the dual efforts of forward De'Von Haggans and guard Will Hagwood. Haggans currently leads the Mounties in points per game with 20.0, good for the second highest points per game in the AMCC, while Hagwood occupies the #3 spot on the conference leaderboard with 19.4 ppg. Both men also hold positions in the AMCC top five for rebounds per game this season, with Hagwood at #2 (8.6 rpg) and Haggans at #4 (8.1). The Mounties look to extend their conference winning streak, coming off two AMCC wins against Alfred State and Carlow. 
 

Hilbert men's basketball enters Saturday's matchup against Mount Aloysius with a 3-4 AMCC record after dropping three consecutive conference games.  Senior guard Shaheem Ellis averages 18 points per game and leads the league with 4.4 assists per contest, 3-pointers made while being ranked third in field goal percentage.  Senior guard Nathan Moore can light it up from downtown if left open as he balances Ellis beyond the arc sinking 37 3's at 43.5%.  Sophomore forward Larry Morse has been a handful for opponents in the paint.  His 60% field goal percentage leads the league while averaging 16 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. As a team, Hilbert leads the league with 38.2% from the 3-point arc, and is second in the AMCC in total rebounds as well as offensive rebounds.
