Box Score HOUGHTON, NY – The Hilbert College Women's Soccer team kept the game within reach the first half, but the Houghton Highlanders depth proved to be the difference maker over the full 90-minute non-conference contest.
The Hawks, playing their first game of the season under the lights, dropped a 5-nil game at Houghton as they continue to battle for their first win of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After fifteen minutes of scoreless action, Houghton found the back of the net twice over the next 14 minutes to take a two-goal lead to the locker room.
The Highlanders continued to press in the second half, recording five corners before posting their third hit in the 64th minute. They tacked back-to-back scores over a 64-second span to close the night with the win.
