HAMBURG, N.Y. - For only the sixth time since the Hawks began competing as an NCAA Division III athletics program, a Hilbert College student-athlete was recognized as an NCAA Statistical Leader.
Taivaughn Roach became the fifth Hawk athlete to be recognized by the NCAA for their hard work and dedication to their sport.
Roach was the 2023 Division III Football national leader with 12.5 tackles per game after leading the Hawks' football team with 100 tackles this fall. He was presented with the NCAA Statistical Leader plaque at the Athletics Awards Reception April 29th.

- Kelly Goodwin Andol '09 was the first Hawk recognized by the NCAA in 2009 as the Softball leader in Toughest To Strike Out.
- Adam Weaver '14 became a two-time honoree, leading Division III Men's Volleyball in back-to-back years in Kills Per Set in 2013 and 2014.
- Joshua Schindler '15 became the 2015Men's Lacrosse leader in Shooting Percentage.Â
- Emily Gawlak '20 garnered the 2017 NCAA honor as the Women's Lacrosse leader in Draw Controls Per Game.
