AURORA, N.Y. – Hilbert College Women's Lacrosse traveled to Wells College this afternoon for their second Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest.
The Express manufactured a 14-goal lead by intermission and secured the 22-goal victory by the final horn.
The Hawks (0-6) recorded nine shots and won five draw controls against the undefeated Express (11-0, 3-0).
Olivia Horn led the Hawks with three shots, three ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control.
Madison Matuszak added three shots, one off a free position shot while Jessee Jonathan led the Hawks with three ground balls.
Sammatha Accurso and Skyler Holzman were each credited with two draw controls.
Katie Kociszewski went the distance in goal recording 14 saves in her first 60-minute game.
Hilbert returns to AMCC action this Saturday when they host Mount Aloysius College. Please note, the start time of the game was shifted one hour later with a new start time of 2pm.
