PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Hilbert College Men's Lacrosse earned the program's second largest margin of victory today when they put the Redhawks out of reach by half time.
The Hawks tallied 24 goals off 14 assists, rolling to their 24-2 victory over La Roche University as they extended their win streak to ten straight against the Redhawks.

HIGHLIGHTS
- Matthew Kennedy recorded 11 points off nine goals and a pair of assists, while Joey DiMaria reached double digit points scoring five goals paired with five assists.
- Jason Sage (4g/1a), Aidan Franko (3g/1a), and Kristopher Newman (2g/1a) played aggressively on the offensive end of the field.
- Mason Shehadi notched his first collegiate goal lifting the Hawks to a 3-0 lead early in the game. He added an assist, his third in his career as a defender.
- Joseph Gorman was tough on defense, leading the way with five caused turnovers and nine ground balls.
- Taivaughn Roach controlled the faceoff x, winning 19 of 27 while scooping 12 ground balls along the way.
- Griffin Miller got his second win this season and Brayden Mazur covered the frame the final 30-minutes recording five saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Hilbert held the Redhawks in check through the first 15 minutes while they tallied six hits, four by Kennedy.
The Hawks found the back of the net two more times before La Roche snuck one past Miller five minutes into the second quarter.
Hilbert responded with 16 consecutive scores until La Roche beat Mazur with six minutes left in the game.
GAME NOTES
The Hawks dominated the stat lines with a 65-12 advantage in shots, went 14-14 in clears, and held a 59-21 lead in ground balls.
Neither team was able to take advantage of their man-up opportunities as the Hawks went 0-4 and La Roche 0-5.
