NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Hilbert College Women's Bowling recorded a pair of victories on the final day of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Total Pin Fall Round Robin 3-day tournament.
The Hawks earned a seven-pin victory over Penn State Altoona (723-716) after claiming the 707-578 win against La Roche at the start of the day inside the Bowlero Lanes. Hilbert ended the tournament falling to the host institution New Jersey City University (848-706) and finished in 7th place with a 4-6 record.
Jenna Angle and
Paige Angle led the Hawks with a 151.0 and 151.7 average, respectively, and
Paige Mullen threw a 148.0 average.
Paige Angle tossed a team-best 165 in the opening match of the morning against La Roche, and her twin,
Jenna Angle earned match-best scores (159 / 162) in the final two games.
Hilbert (17-30) concluded the AMCC portion of their schedule today, and after posting a 7-13 AMCC record over the two Round Robin tournaments, fell to 8th place overall and out of the Championship tournament.
The Hawks return to action next weekend when they compete at the Bro. Pat Macey Memorial tournament hosted by St. Vincent College (Lincoln Lanes | Latrobe, Pa.) Saturday, February 10th.
