HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Women's Basketball suffered an 67-31 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference defeat to Penn State Altoona, who improved to 3-0 in league action.

Chloe Champagne prior to the 3 pm tip in the Hafner Recreation Center.
HIGHLIGHTS
Kelsey Schlagenhauf recorded her first double-double of the season pairing 11 points with 12 rebounds while
Kayla Johnson tossed in a team-high 13 points and secured two steals in a team-high 39 minutes.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kayla Johnson scored Hilbert's only points in the opening period after making both attempts at the foul line mid-way through the quarter and then finished the session with an old-fashioned three-point play with 13-seconds remaining.
- Kelsey Schlagenhauf hit a pair at the charity stripe and Chloe Champagne drilled her 3-pointer on the right wing in the second quarter as both teams went to the locker room separated by 26 points.
- Schlagenhauf went on a 7-point run after intermission helping Hilbert to slice into the point differential before Johnson tossed in a pair from the field before the start of the fourth quarter.
- Kylie Morgan, after scoring a bucket in the third quarter, chipped into the scoring column in the final session, joining Schlagenhauf and Johnson's efforts.
GAME NOTES
Hilbert improved their shooting percentage after intermission, hitting 9-of-16 field goal attempts but they struggled in the first half, sinking only 2-of-21 shots after committing 14 turnovers in that 20-minute span.
Hilbert out rebounded Altoona (32-26) and worked for 11 offensive boards.
Kylie Morgan added four points and grabbed three offensive rebounds (4 total) while
Chloe Champagne hit her only 3-point attempt today.
Altoona recorded 34 points off turnovers, 12 of which were fastbreak points.

The Hawks (0-9, 0-2 AMCC) return to the Hafner next Wednesday, December 11th for their final home contest. Hilbert closes the semester at Pitt-Bradford (December 14th).
