The AMCC Men's Basketball Game of the Week features a showdown of the two of the last remaining undefeated teams in conference play. Hilbert College (2-0) travels to Bradford, PA to take on the Pitt-Bradford Panthers (1-0) in the AMCC Game of the Week.

Hilbert Men's Basketball (8-2, 2-0), is ready for another AMCC test this weekend.  The Hawks were riding a seven-game win streak, which included a pair of AMCC victories last week before they suffered a slight set-back with a non-conference loss to Geneseo Monday.  With ten games under their belt, the Hawks lead the AMCC in 3-point field goals made as well as shots from the floor.  Defensively, Hilbert holds opponents to 43.4% field goal shooting (25.4% beyond the arc) and have a +5 rebound margin on the boards. The Hawks have three players who rank in the league's top 12 in scoring.  Senior G Shaheem Ellis has the ball in his hands just about every trip down the floor, averaging 18.2 points and leading the league with 27 made 3-pointers, assists (47) and assist to turnover ratio (3.9).  Trailing right behind Ellis is senior G Quran Briggs who tosses in 17 points per game after sinking 67 made buckets.  Sophomore F Larry Morse is the lone big in the league to average a double-double, with a conference best 10.3 rebounds and 15.8 points per game.  Senior sharp-shooter Nathan Moore is ranked third in the league with 2.5 3-pt makes a game, and when he gets hot, he can hit from anyone beyond half court.

The Pitt-Bradford Panthers are off to their best start in program history, winning their first seven games of the season. The Panthers are third in NCAA DIII in scoring at 107.1 points per game and turnovers forced at 26.29 per game. They have surpassed the century mark in six of seven contests. Pitt-Bradford has five players averaging double figures, led by senior Jamarion Butler at 20.0 and freshman Braylen Salters at 18.6. Butler also leads the team with 5.9 rebounds per game while Salters adds 3.0 steals per game. Senior Jesse Laster contributes 13.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game, while Rodd Yarbrough adds 10.7 and Coby Farley 10.0 points per game. Farley leads the AMCC in 3-point field goal percentage with 51.9 percent, connecting on 14-of-27 threes this season.
