Despite a strong effort, Hilbert struggled with efficiency, especially in the first two sets, where they had lower hitting percentages compared to Mount Aloysius. Hilbert fell to 5-18 overall and 3-5 in the conference while the Mounties improved to 12-13 overall and 4-2 in the AMCC.
Hilbert, the only team in the nine-team conference to have concluded their league schedule due to a rescheduled game and this week's bye, currently sits in 6th place and must wait until next Saturday for the full conference schedule to be completed.
The Hawks have two non-conference contests on their schedule this week. They will host Buffalo State University November 6th and travel to SUNY Fredonia November 9th.
