HAMBURG, NY – This afternoon, Hilbert College Women's Soccer took on a Penn State-Behrend side that entered the contest perfect in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. The Lions struck eight times in the first half to remain undefeated in AMCC play.
First Half Highlights: Penn State-Behrend set the tone early with Trinity Prestash scoring a penalty kick just under three minutes into the game. Prestash quickly added two more goals, bringing her tally to three by the 19th minute, including one assisted by Rachel Sickeri. Audra Kuzma and Emily Samluk, with an assist from Lauren Kiser, continued the offense for Behrend, while Kiser and Rori Kostos each found the back of the net to push the score to 8-0 before halftime.
Second Half Overview: The second half saw no further scoring, with back-and-forth play and shots by each team.
Hailey Kuder stepped between the pipes for Hilbert for the final 45 minutes and held the Lions scoreless making six saves.
