HAMBURG, N.Y. – The United East Conference released the 2023 Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Team and Award Winners.
Joseph Gorman headlines the Hilbert trio recognized for their talents this spring season.

Ryan Davis joined the two-time All-Conference veteran Gorman when the awards were announced today.
St. Mary's domination on the turf also reflects in their sweep of all major awards. Keegan Preis was named the Offensive Player of the Year while Ethan Little was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year. Jason Childs garnered the Coach of the Year award and his freshman attack Joshua Martel was picked as the Rookie of the Year.

Ryan Davis were voted to the Second Team.
Gorman, the 6'2 junior from West Seneca West High School, was the Hawks' top defender, leading the team with a career-high 37 caused turnovers. Gorman was credited with 32 ground balls after starting all 11 games this spring, and he led the United East Conference with an impressive 3.36 caused turnovers per game.
Fitch, a 5'10 LSM from Holland, N.Y. (St. Francis High School) took on a new role this spring and logged a team-and-career-best 82 ground balls which ranked him second in the UEC with 7.45 per game. In his first year serving as the Hawks' primary faceoff specialist, Fitch finished with a 42.6-percentage after winning 92 of 216. Fitch was also credited with two assists and 22 caused turnovers.
Davis, a 5'10 sophomore attack from Amherst, N.Y. (Sweet Home High School) recorded 21 points fueled by 16 goals and five assists. His highlight game this season was against Wells when he collected six points off four goals and a pair of assists. He earned at least one point in all but three games and scooped 21 ground balls and was credited with three caused turnovers in 2023.
Hilbert (3-8) advances to the United East Conference postseason tournament for the program's third consecutive time. The No. 4 Hawks (2-3) will battle No. 1 St. Mary's College this afternoon in a 1pm semifinal contest in St. Mary's City, MD.
