HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Hilbert College Hawks men's lacrosse team hosted United East Conference foe La Roche 0-8 (0-2) at St. Francis High School and left the field with a 21-0 victory. The win brings the team to .500 on the season at 3-3 with a perfect 2-0 UEC record to start the campaign.
How It Happened: Hilbert's attacked carried over from the Wells win on Saturday. The Hawks had 7 different goal scorers. The attack was led by
Joey DiMaria who scored 8 goals and added 4 assists for a 12 point night.
Kevin Doyle and
Roland Jimerson both had a hat trick.
Ryan Davis,
Jason Sage, and
Jack Scherrer each had two goals. Conor Salamida had a goal and an assist on the night.
Joseph Gorman and
Vincent Cascio each had an assist. Gorman also caused 8 turnovers on the night.
Griffin Miller saved all 5 shots he faced from the Redhawks attack.
Ryan Fitch won 20 of the 24 faceoffs he took. The Hawks controlled the entire game and never let up.
