  • Hilbert opened the first game with an 8-2 lead and never allowed the Celtics to get any closer than five points (13-8) enroute to their 25-16 win.  The Hawks earned 11 kills and five service aces, with Joe Grisanti scoring the final set point from the service line.
  • Carlow took the lead and maintained their momentum through to a 14-8 score.  Hilbert slowly clawed their way back into a 16-18 score, then went on a 5-point fun to take over 21-18.  Austin Chandler was credited with back-to-back service aces which set the 24-19 score and Converse put the set away off a kill for the 25-21 win.

Brad Converse finished the  match with 11 kills (.320) while Chris Laboy and Alex Overhoff led with eight digs each.  Austin Chandler (14 assists) and Ryan Levcik (12) shared time as the setter and 13 players saw court time this afternoon.  Connor Higgins posted two solo blocks and Levcik and Dylan Suter each collected two block assists.  Six different Hawks earned a service ace led by Chandler's team-high three.
