KENMORE, NY – The Hilbert College Women's Bowling team rolled three tight matches today, but pulled out only one victory as they concluded the AMCC Round Robin 1 Baker Tournament in 8th place with a 3-7 record.
The Hawks dropped their first two matches, both against University of Pittsburgh opponents. Greensburg knocked down just 41 more pins (811-770) than Hilbert while Bradford built a 46-pin spread (833-787). The Hawks then used a 26-pin win (765-739) over La Roche to close the tourney on a high note.
Hilbert's highest scoring game was a 187 against La Roche
Jenna Angle led Hilbert today with a 17.2 per frame average while Paige Mullen was a strong second with a 16.7/frame average.
Hilbert (13-24, 3-7 AMCC) will battle Penn State Behrend in a dual match December 9th in Erie, Pa. in their last match before the semester break.
