KENMORE, NY – After picking up another win today, the Hilbert Women's Bowling Team has set a new program record in wins, and they are less than half way through the winter season.
The Hawks went 1-3 on Day two of the AMCC Round Robin Baker matches rolled at Classic Lanes.
Hilbert threw a 746.75 match average after beating Mount Aloysius (811-672). The Hawks were close with Saint Vincent, falling by 12 pins (745-733), but trailed Penn State Behrend (798-707) and Williams Smith (881-736) by a larger margin.
Ashley Dixon led the team with a 17.8/frame baker average and for the second day in a row,
Paige Angle chipped in a 167/frame average.
The baker round robin series concludes tomorrow with early morning matches. Hilbert will face Pitt-Greensburg, Pitt-Bradford and La Roche as they look to rebound with a few more wins on Sunday.
