ERIE, Pa. – After playing five of their last six games in Hamburg, the Hilbert Women's Volleyball team traveled to Penn State Behrend for another Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match tonight.
The Hawks suffered a 3-0 loss to the league leaders in the Junker Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED –
Michaela Rice led the Hawks with five kills, while
Natalie Ruhlmann kept action moving with 14 digs.
Emily Garnett was the only other Hawk to notch double figure digs recording 12.
Jessee Jonathan dished 15 assists and was credited with the Hawks' solo service ace.
- The opening set was very competitive early with both teams trading leads until the Hawks knotted the set at 10-all. The Lions slowly pulled away and after they held an 18-15 lead, they stacked five of their final eight points off service aces and kills.
- Hilbert stayed with Behrend through a 5-7 score until the Lions put together multiple runs. The Lions' longest run was eight unanswered points before taking the 25-12 win.
- Behrend again found their groove and built an 11-4 margin, stretched it to 23-8 before the final 25-12 win.
The Hawks earned 28 points, 22 kills, one service ace, five blocks, 20 assists and 49 digs.
