HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Mounties looked in trouble late in the opening set after Hilbert stacked six points together, building a 20-18 lead. Mount Aloysius regrouped and closed the set with a seven-point run for the win.
- The Hawks fell behind 18-6 before they found three consecutive points. Hilbert earned seven points in the second set, all off strong hits at the net.
- With the score knotted at 6-all, the momentum shifted to the Mounties who put together a seven-point swing which eventually created enough space for the win. The Hawks tacked a few points together, but they ran out of time for a late-match rally.
