HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Hilbert College Athletic Department reported another impressive semester in the classroom as 12 of its 18 varsity programs posted a term grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2022 fall session.
Nine teams posted a team GPA of 3.20 or higher, while 118 fall-term student-athletes posted a 3.2 fall GPA or higher. Within that group of 118, 81 student-athletes earned a 3.5 fall semester GPA and 24 produced a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
The Women's Cross Country team led all Hawk programs in the fall semester after they combined their efforts for a 3.83 grade point average, a program all-time high and potentially an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference record.
The Women's Bowling team (3.63), Women's Track and Field (3.56), Men's Track and Field (3.38), Men's Cross Country (3.36), Men's Volleyball (3.38), Women's Hockey (3.35), Women's Soccer (3.26), Softball (3.31) Men's Soccer (3.11), Women's Basketball (3.10), and the Golf (3.09) teams also posted solid semesters in the classroom earning a term GPA of 3.0 or higher.
