Makenna Smith earned two hits and the solo RBI in Hilbert's road losses at Medaille College this afternoon.

GAME ONE
- The Hawks trimmed the margin to one run at the top of the 3rd after Makenna Smith hit an RBI double to left center scoring Kaitlyn Barone. Smith, the tying runner, was thrown out at home after she and Victoria Grayson attempted a double steal.
- The Mavericks stretched their lead with four runs in the fourth and tacked two more on in the 6th for the win.
- Avery Cusack, and Emma McNamara earned hits in the opening inning and Barone singled in the 7th.
- Rebecca Marmorato struck out three, walked seven, gave up six earned runs in six innings.
GAME TWO
- Hannah Coken struck out two, walked three with five earned runs in the 3.1 innings tossed.
- Smith connected with a single to left center for the Hawks' solo hit in the loss.
UP NEXT
With multiple reschedules due to weather earlier this month, the Hawks close their season with four AMCC double headers. Hilbert will travel to Mount Aloysius Thursday, April 28th, host La Roche Saturday, April 30th and Pitt-Greensburg the next day. Both weekend games will begin at 1pm. Hilbert caps the final week of the season with another home game Tuesday, May 3rd against Pitt-Bradford.
