HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College suffered a 3-0 loss to the AMCC league-leaders, Penn State Behrend in men's volleyball tonight.

HIGHLIGHTS ON THE DAY
Brad Converse average three kills per set earning nine for the match. Three Hawks matched efforts on defense earning five digs each while
Ryan Levcik led with a pair of service aces and
Austin Chandler was credited with 17 assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hilbert was competitive early in all three matches and forced a late-set timeout after putting a scare in the Lions in the third set.
- Facing a 4-4 score in the first set, Behrend punched their lead to five (13-7) and extended it to 22-15 before winning 25-16. The Hawks earned eight points at the net, two via blocks, and one service ace in the first set.
- The Hawks picked up two of their first three points off kills (Dylan Suter and Converse) and trailed 4-3. The Lions slowly pulled away, building a five-point spread (10-5) and maintained that margin until they set the 17-9 score. Behrend earned seven of their final eight points for the 25-12 win.
- The Hawks matched point-for-point in the third set and jumped on top (9-8). Behrend responded with four consecutive kills, taking a 12-9 lead, and collected more points (18-14) before the Hawks kicked it in gear. Levcik and Converse tacked two kills before Hilbert influenced a Lion attack error which forced Behrend to take a timeout, leading 18-17. The Lions went on a seven-point run for the win.
GAME NOTES
- Hilbert earned 26 points, 22 kills (.065), two service aces, two blocks, 18 assists and 24 digs.
- Behrend earned 56.0 points, 46 kills (.387), five service aces, five blocks, 38 assists and 41 digs.

The Hawks return to AMCC action this weekend when they travel to Beaver Falls, Pa for another conference tri-match at Geneva College. Hilbert will face the hosts at 12 pm and then battle Saint Vincent College at 2:30 pm March 26th.
