BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Hilbert College men's lacrosse team returned to action for the first time since March 5th and ran into a red-hot Brockport team this afternoon. The Golden Eagles earned a 26-4 non-conference win at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium.
Brockport, who averaged 14.6 goals per game prior to this afternoon's contest, improved to 4-1 and dropped the Hawks to 1-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Brockport went on a five-goal run before Zach Blount beat their keeper at 3:23 in the first quarter. The Golden Eagles went on another run and then Liam Doyle hit at 2:51 in the second quarter which set the score at 12-2.
- Daniel Flynn scored off an assist by Blount with 1:52 remaining in the third session and Joey DiMaria netted his unassisted mark at 13:08. Brockport connected seven more times prior the final horn, setting the 26-4 score.
GAME NOTES
- Brockport built large margins in Shots, ground balls, face-off wins and caused turnovers while credited with a 21-for-21 success rate in clears.
- Hilbert finished with 27 saves, won 6 of 33 face offs and caused three turnovers.
UP NEXT
Hilbert travels next weekend for the first United East Conference game this spring. The Hawks will battle St. Mary's College (MD) in an early 11:00 am contest March 26th.
