KENMORE, N.Y. – The Hilbert College Women's Bowling team returned to Classic Lanes for the second day of competitive bowling at the Medaille Invitational.
Hilbert went 0-5 today after rolling three 5-set total pin fall Baker games to start the morning and, after a quick break in action, the tournament hosts re-seeded the 10-team field based on overall records.
Hilbert and Pitt-Bradford were pitted against each other in back-to-back Best of 7 Baker matches at the end of the tournament.
The Hawks were 18 pins away from victory against D'Youville in the total pin fall baker match right out of the gate this morning and then battled in every match the rest of the day.
After three weekend tournaments, the Hawks have played 30 games in six total days.
Morning Match Results in 5-set Baker total pin fall:
D'Youville 718 – Hilbert 701
