HIRAM, Ohio, The Hilbert College Hawks football team travelled today to face off against Hiram College. Hiram put up a strong performance to beat Hilbert utilizing both their run and pass game.
How it Happened:
First Quarter: Hiram would come out hot and score on their first drive of the game with a long 42 yard touchdown reception. This would be a 5 play 61 yard touchdown. Hiram would go on to dominate the rest of the first quarter scoring to make it 35-0 with 1:36 left to play.
Second Quarter: Hiram would get the ball quick in the second quarter after forcing a turnover and have a 1 play drive for a touchdown taking an 80 yard rush to the end zone. Hiram would go down to score another touchdown after that to make it a 49-0 game.

Third Quarter: In the third quarter the Hawks began to find their groove both offensively and defensively.
Nicholas Rinker would throw two 34 yard touchdowns to
Ja'Heim Virgil and
Quincey Bishop to make it a closer game. Later on in the game
Nicholas Rinker would again find
Quincey Bishop for a 29 yard touchdown to make it his second of the day.
Fourth Quarter: The fourth quarter was a hard fought battle by both teams. Eventually the game would come to an end and Hiram would rise to the occasion to beat the Hilbert College Hawks in their second last game of the year.
