ERIE, Pa.  - The Hilbert College women's bowling team opened  the 2022 season Saturday, October 8th at Day 1 of the Mercyhurst Tournament.

The Hawks dropped five matches but got their feet wet being back on the ally.

Ashley Dixon led Hilbert with a 157.2 average while Paige Mullen supported the Hawks with a 143 average through five matches.

Dixon finished in 18th place out of 56 bowlers today.

The Hawks slipped to Penn State Behrend (839-569), D'Youville (809-641), Duquesne (1093-594), Roberts Wesleyan (724-600), and Medaille (875-700) on day one.

They will return to Rolling Meadows Lanes tomorrow morning to finish the tourney.
