HAMBURG, N.Y. – Big Weekend on tap for the Hilbert College Athletics Department.
The Hawks Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are heading to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship race while the Men's and Women's Soccer teams have earned the right to return to the AMCC postseason tournament for the first time in seven years.
If that isn't exciting enough for the folks left in the Hawks Nest, then get psyched for the opening weekend of the Women's Ice Hockey program!
Additionally, the Women's Volleyball program will host the program's Senior Day celebration in the Hafner Saturday and the Women's Bowling team is eager to participate in their second weekend tournament.

Bowling will participate in only their second tournament this season after participating in the very challenging Mercyhurst Invitational two weekends ago.
Ashley Dixon, the lone returner to the program after it took a one-year hiatus, leads the team in total pin fall and baker average.
The Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will race against Alfred State, La Roche, Mount Aloysius, Penn State Behrend and Pitt-Greensburg when they hit the 6K and 8K trails on the campus of Mount Aloysius.
Maddie Fusco broke into the top 15 with a first 6K race two weeks ago and
Matthew Domagala continues to the pace the men's team in longer distance races.
The Women's Ice Hockey team will get a chance to test their talents this weekend when they launch the program at Hilbert this Friday and Saturday. The Hawks will skate against Alvernia University Friday afternoon and then travel 45 miles west to face Lebanon Valley College on Saturday. Coach
Cole Klubek has guided the team through two exhibition games earlier this month, but this weekend is the team's first taste of NCAA Division III competition.
The Men's Soccer team will face the same opponent they closed their regular season against on the pitch. No. 6 seed Hilbert (5-9-2, 2-5 AMCC) will travel to No. 3 Alfred State College (9-5-4, 4-2-1 AMCC) for the First Round AMCC Game. Hilbert spotted the Pioneers a quick goal 46-seconds into the game and gave up a final score with 47-seconds left in the contest. The Hawks played ASC even (2-2) the other 88 minutes October 25th.
Hector Harris and
Jason Vullo have each tallied nine goals and are ranked 3rd in AMCC scoring, while Harris leads with 25 points (#2).
Logan Peck leads the AMCC with 104 saves and is third in the league in minutes played.
The Women's Volleyball team will honor two seniors prior to the start of their final game of the 2022 season. Graduate-student

Casandra Thompson will be celebrated and recognized before the 1 pm AMCC game against Pitt-Greensburg. The Hawks are led by freshman
Jenna Revak with 130 kills and 190 digs while
Jaden Helbig is credited with 370 assists,
Katie Kociszewski leads with 30 blocks and
Michaela Rice with 35 service aces.
The Women's Soccer team will travel to central Pa. for a rematch against Penn State Altoona. The No. 5 Hawks (6-7-3, 3-3-1 AMCC) played to a 1-1 T against the No. 4 Lions (5-6-5, 3-2-1 AMCC) back on October 8th in Hamburg. Altoona got on the board first in the 24th minute and
Chloe Champagne knotted the game at 1-1 with less than 20 minutes left in the contest.
Grace Zabawa leads the Hawks in goals (9), assists (7) and is ranked fourth in the AMCC in Points (25).
Gabrielle Avallone (18) and
Macy Kisner (15) are two other dangerous play makers for the Hawks on attack. Goalie
Hailey Kuder is ranked third in the league is saves (73) while
Tahlia Kosek is ranked fourth in goals against (14). The tandem keepers split time between the posts all season until Kuder carried the team in the 70:36 game against Alfred State which was called due to darkness October 25.
