ERIE, Pa.  - The Hilbert College women's bowling team returned to action on Day 2 of the Mercyhurst Invitational Tournament in five Baker matches.

The Hawks started the morning strong but slipped as the day progressed.

Ashley Dixon led the team in points per frame and Rachel Richicki was impressive in her tenacity on the lanes today.

Dixon finished in 18th place out of 56 bowlers today.

Hilbert fell in 5-set Baker matches to Daemen (879 - 616), Mercyhurst (827 - 663), Roberts Wesleyan (794 - 619), before suffering loses to D'Youville (720 - 553) and Penn St.-Behrend (614 - 498) in Best of 7 Baker matches.

The Hawks return to action in two weeks when they compete at cross-town Daemen University's Invite October 29 and 30.
