GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Hilbert Men's Soccer team was able to adjust on the fly after their 1:00 pm game at Ridilla Field was shifted to a 2:00 pm start at Southmoreland High School.
The Hawks were knotted at 1-1 by intermission, but three unanswered second-half goals by Pitt-Greensburg led to a 4-1 AMCC defeat to the Bobcats.
Coach
Jonny Black summed it up after the game. "The team's work rate and commitment was fantastic all game, but we just couldn't keep our intensity up for the full 90 minutes. When our energy levels dropped we gave Pitt-Greensburg more space to play which lead to the goals late in the second half."
