CAZENOVIA, N.Y. –
David Gullo notched his first goal of the season tonight but the Hawks from Hilbert suffered a 7-1 defeat at Cazenovia College in men's soccer.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cazenovia went up 2-0 in a span of 24-seconds in the first 12 minutes of action.
- The Wildcats added their third marker in the 15th minute but the Hawks responded with their first goal of the season at 19:17 when Gullo poked a ball off a Cazenovia defender into the net, making it a 2-goal game.
- Caz extended their advantage off a header to the back of the net just seven minutes later and took a 4-1 lead to intermission.
- The Hawks had no answer for Caz as they tacked on three additional goals over an eight minute period midway through the second half for the win.
GAME NOTES
- Solomon Bonane was credited with a pair of Hilbert shots on goal while Joseph Jerge and Ali Moradi unleashed shots in the 90 minute match.
- Goalie Logan Peck (8 saves) went almost 74 minutes deep into the game before Ben Chowaniec closed the final 16 minutes, credited with six saves.
- Cazenovia outshot the Hawks 30-5 with a 21-4 advantage on-goal. The Wildcats pushed the action building a 12-5 margin in corner kicks while Hilbert was credited with 14 saves in the non-conference match.
