ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men's soccer team battled in their third non-conference game in four days today.  Elmira dictated the pace and produced eight unanswered goals for the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After giving up two quick goals to Elmira in the game's first 14 minutes, Hilbert played even with the hosts through to intermission. 
• If Hilbert wasn't called for a penalty in the box which led to a PK goal in the 13th minute, the Hawks could have gone into the half with a one-goal differential.
• Hilbert made a keeper change at the start of the second period and freshman Ben Chowaniec made seven saves off the 13 shots he faced in 29:41 minutes. 
• Another rookie goal keeper Jonathan Brito finished the final 15:19 minutes making two saves off the five shots taken by Elmira.

GAME NOTES

• Ali Moradi, Somo Somo and Joseph Jerge were credited with all three Hilbert shots.
• The Soaring Eagle held a 19-0 advantage in shots on goal.
• Logan Peck took his third loss of the season after making two saves in the first half.
