THE 2021-2022 SCHEDULE

Hilbert's 2021-22 basketball schedule features 16 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC)
games which is more than 60% of their 25-regular season events.

The Hawks will host eight conference opponents in the Hafner Recreation Center:
Penn State Behrend (12/1), La Roche University (12/11), Medaille College (01/05), Pitt-Bradford (01/12),
Pitt-Greensburg (01/22), Alfred State College (02/02), Penn State Altoona (02/12), and Mount Aloysius College (02/19).

Hilbert rounds out the home portion of their schedule with four non-conference games against
St. John Fisher College (HOME OPENER - 11/09), Elmira College (11/23), The College at Brockport (11/27),
and Case Western Reserve University (01/03).

In addition to their eight AMCC away games, the Hawks tacked-on a few other tough road non-conference opponents
early in the fall semester. Besides the season opener November 6 at Fredonia, Hilbert will travel to Oswego State (11/11),
Buffalo State College (11/13), and will battle Morrisville State on the opening night of the Morrisville State Tournament (11/19)
before they face SUNY Poly the following morning.

The top six AMCC ranked teams  advance to the league's post-season tournament in late February.
The No. 3 seed will host No. 6 and the No. 4 seed will host No.5 in the First Round Games on February 22.
The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will face the First Round victors in the AMCC semifinal games hosted by the No. 1 seed
on February 25th and the AMCC champion will be crowned the next afternoon.

The AMCC Champion earns the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament
and gets to join the March Madness in 2022.

   SEASONS IN REVIEW:
It's been 20 months since the Hawks last took the court for an NCAA-countable contest.

Hilbert and the rest of the AMCC league saw their 2020-21 season reduced to exhibition games and
scrimmages out of concern for student-athlete health and safety as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hilbert competed in three Spring 2021 exhibition games, battling Medaille College twice,
and traveled to Erie, Pa for a road game at Penn State Behrend in March.

The last time Hilbert competed in an NCAA game was February 29, 2020 when the Hawks lost to
La Roche University in the AMCC Championship Title Game.
The 2019-20 women's basketball team went 20-7 overall, with a 16-4 mark in conference play,
and made their third consecutive trip to the AMCC Title game.
