BRADFORD, Pa. – The Hilbert College women's soccer team shutdown the Panthers from Pitt-Bradford after intermission and earned their first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference victory this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kelci Davies served the perfect ball to Grace Zabawa as she knocked in the game's opening goal in the 37th minute.
- The Hawks continued to limit the Panthers until the hosts found the back of the net at 42:40 and sent both teams to the halftime knotted at 1-1.
- Hilbert came out strong in the second period and their offensive attack paid off with a Macy Kisner goal, fed by Zabawa just seven minutes into the second half.
- The Hawks' defense did a great job of limiting Bradford in the second session, holding them scoreless in the final 45 minutes of action.
GAME NOTES
- Tahlia Kosek earned her first collegiate win in goal making four saves through the full 90 minutes.
- Macy Kisner tallied her fourth goal of the season (8 points) and first game-winner today while Grace Zabawa pushed her point total to nine after scoring and assisting on the game-winner.
- In her third full season of collegiate action, Kelci Davies earned her first point as a Hawk at 37:19.
- Hilbert led in shots (16-11) and shots on-goal (9-5).

The women's soccer team will travel to SUNY Poly Thursday, October 14 for a non-conference make-up game rescheduled from early September. The Hawks return to campus this weekend when they host Pitt-Greensburg October 16 at 2pm.
