HAMBURG, N.Y. – Several Hilbert College baseball players got the thrill of a lifetime Wednesday night after they hopped on a bus that took them to Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Hawks volunteered to assist the short-staffed Delaware North-run concession operations at the home field of the Cleveland Indians who were hosting the second game of the 2016 World Series on October 26.
Eric Flores,
Michael Goodberry,
Taylor Haug,
Winfred Nelson and
Dalton Reynolds were five of the 20 folks (who normally work the concession stands during the home Buffalo Bills games) that were transported to work the game in Cleveland.

They arrived at Progressive Field early Wednesday afternoon, met several players as well as national broadcasters and worked at a concession stand on the 500 level of the park.
After the Hawks did their normal post-game concession stand clean-up, the group boarded a bus after midnight and pulled into New Era Field in Orchard Park after 4am October 27.
The Hilbert baseball team will be right back at it, serving the needs of the Buffalo Bills fans, when they work the next NFL game this Sunday, October 30 as WNY "welcomes" the New England Patriots to Orchard Park.
