TONAWANDA, N.Y. - Medaille College women's bowling swept six games this weekend and stand alone at the top of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference standings. St. Vincent College's only loss (5-1) was to the Mavericks and Mt. Aloysius went 4-2 holding down third place after the first AMCC Round Robin tournament held at Classic Lanes.
Hilbert strung together higher scores this morning than in Day One, but the Hawks fell to New Jersey City University (953-750) before their 983-748 match against Medaille. St. Vincent earned an 872 - 627 final Baker match victory over Hilbert which dropped the Hawks to 1-6 in league standings after they earned a forfeit win against Penn State Behrend yesterday.
Medaille College (4-0) closed the day with a 196.5 Baker average while Hilbert trailed with a 136.2 average.
The Hawks (1-11) are idle until March 2 and March 3. They will travel to Jersey City, N.J. for the second AMCC Round Robin tournament which will be hosted by New Jersey City University.
