Hunter Martineau posted his second career triple-double with 16 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds, while fellow senior
Alex Karamanos scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lift the men's basketball team to a 98-97 non-conference victory over Keuka College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The defensive intensity was strong early for both teams as there were numerous blocked shots and steals over the first 7 minutes of play.
- The two teams were locked at 19 a piece halfway through the first half, when Hilbert went on a huge run, scoring 14 unanswered points to take a 33-19 lead with 7 minutes to go in the half.
- Hilbert rode the hot hand throughout the entirety of the half, feeding Alex Karamanos for high percentage shots close to the basket, resulting in a 16-point, six rebound half for the senior guard.
- Keuka closed out the half with a run of their own, taking just a 3-point deficit into the intermission at 50-47.
- The Wolves came out of the intermission pushing the tempo while forcing the Hawks into early foul trouble, as the Hawks committed 5 team fouls over the initial 3:30 of the second half. They capitalized on the Hawks timid defensive with a big run of their own, scoring 12 unanswered points to take an 81-70 lead with 8:06 left in the game.
- The resilient Hawks fought back to tie up the score at 90 with just 2:38 remaining in the game after a Karamanos floater in the lane.
- Hilbert sealed the victory in the final 30 seconds, as Martineau grabbed a defensive board to cap off his triple-double performance, before sending an outlet pass to Karamanos for a fast break bucket to take a 3-point lead with 24 seconds to play and Hilbert sealed the victory on defense in the closing seconds with a big stop at the buzzer.
- Karamanos led all scorers with 24 points, one point shy of his career-high, while also leading the Hawks with 11 rebounds. Martineau finished with a team-high 14 assists and forward Warren Richardson added 3 blocks on the defensive end.
- James Barnes led the Wolves in points, rebounds, assists and steals with 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and four steals.
GAME NOTES
- The Hawks dominated the boards yet again in this game, out-rebounding the Wolves 51-25, including 19-5 on the offensive glass, resulting in a 19-6 margin in second chance points.
- Hilbert also held a 46-32 advantage in points in the paint.
- The Hawks finished the game shooting 35 of 70 (50.0%) from the floor, including 22 of 27 (81.5%) from the free throw line.
- Keuka finished 30 of 63 (47.6%) from the floor, including 8 of 20 from the 3-point line (40.0%), while going 29 of 35 (82.9%) from the charity stripe.
