HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men's soccer team lost 6-0 to Penn State Altoona on senior day earlier this afternoon.
Hilbert's lone senior,
Brandon Bundschuh, led the team with 3 shots on the day, as the Hawks were outshot 43-9, including 28-1 on net.
Carl Zarcone had the lone shot on goal for the Hawks.
The Hawks limited the visiting Lions in the opening half of play. After allowing a pair of goals over the first 18 minutes of action, Hilbert blanked Penn State Altoona the rest of the half to take a 2-0 deficit into the intermission.

Hector Harris had a major impact in the opening half with another impressive performance in net, as he was credited with 15 first half saves. His 22 saves on the afternoon are a new season-high for the royal and white, surpassing his efforts last game against Medaille in which he had 21 saves.
Penn State Altoona opened up the second half strong, netting 3 goals over the first 24 minutes of action. They followed it up with another tally in the final minutes to cap off the scoring for the day at 6-0.

Brandon Bundschuh for his four years of dedicated service to the men's program.
Hilbert (0-12-1, 0-9) returns to action next week as they cap off their season with a road contest at Penn State Behrend on October 29th at 5:00pm.
