ERIE, Pa. – The Hilbert College women's bowling team picked up their first win of the 2018-19 season after beating Penn State Behrend two out of three traditional total pin fall matches (1962-1900) rolled at Eastland Bowling Center January 18.
The total pinfall for the day was 1962-1900 as the Hawks averaged a 130.80 score in the three-game series.
Victoria Kurdziel (161.67 average),
Dyana Durmaj (156.00),
Mikayla Rix (136.33),
Emily Wachowski (100.33) and
Elizabeth Pesante (99.67) represented Hilbert in the head-to-head match against the Lions.

st Game:
- The Hawks earned a 726-616 win
- Dyana Durmaj led Hilbert with a 196 game, tossing six strikes, two in the 10th frame.

nd Game:
- Hilbert repeated their performance and won 635-627
- Victoria Kurdziel was the Hawks high bowler with a 156 game

rd Game:
Hilbert (2-2) returns to action the first weekend in February. The Hawks will host St. Vincent College Friday, February 1 in a head-to-head match at 3pm (Braymiller's Lanes) in downtown Hamburg.
Then, in two days of full bowling action, Hilbert will host the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Round Robin Baker match series at Classic Lanes in Tonawanda, NY Saturday/Sunday, February 2 and 3.
