ERIE, Pa. – The Hilbert College women's bowling team celebrated a 3-0 dual match victory against Penn State Behrend after a three-week lay-off from competition.
The Hawks, who haven't bowled since November 15th's dual match against Daemen, finished the match knocking down 101 more pins than the Lions.
Hilbert earned a 615 – 600 opening match win before they found their groove on the lanes with a 748 – 711 win. Each team cooled a little in the final game with Hilbert taking a 649-600 sweep to improve to 7-18 overall.
Jennifer Roback averaged a 173 after she finished with a 519 total pin fall. Her highest game was the second match with a 190 score.
Alicia Alguire put together a 511 day with a 170 average. The senior notched a 178 score in the final game of the day.
Mikayla Rix bowled with her left hand since she has three broken fingers on her dominate right hand. The freshman collected 406 with a 135 average.

Alyssa Przywara chased each other all day as they finished one pin different. Pesant knocked down 290 and Przywara trailed with 289.
The Hawks prepare for final exams next week and are then off from competition until January 19th when they face Penn State Behrend again, this time at Braymiller's Lanes in Hamburg.
