Bowling Jumps to 4th Place in AMCC Standings

ALTOONA, Pa. – The Hilbert College women's bowling team completed their very first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Round Robin tournament this weekend and the Hawks came out on the positive side of the win/loss record.

After going 3-1 on Day One yesterday, Hilbert went 1-2 this morning and moved to 4th place overall at 4-3 in league action.

Day Two started with a 79-pin 5-game Baker victory against Penn State Behrend where Hilbert knocked down 637 pins to the Lions 558.

Medaille dominated the Hawks with a 821-594 win before Hilbert suffered a 717-653 loss to Pitt-Bradford.

For the weekend, Hilbert ranked 5th in Total Pin Fall posting 4408 knock-downs which was more than Penn State Behrend, Penn State Altoona and Thiel College.

The Royal and White return to action this week when they host Division II Daemen College at Braymiller's Lanes on November 15 at 6pm.
