BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's volleyball team served up a 3-1 non-conference victory over Medaille College September 11. The victory marks the first time Amanda Logue has led a Hilbert team to a road victory over Medaille College. The Hawks improved to 3-7 and dropped the Mavericks to 1-5 on the year.

Hilbert finished the four-set match (25-19, 17-25, 26-24, 25-20) with 13 more kills than the Mavericks with three Hawks earning at least nine kills and three with double-digit digs.

Amanda Binder led the charge for the visitors with 10 kills and 14 digs. Chelsea Reischuck added 11 kills, four service aces, and six digs while fellow senior Shannon Memminger tossed in 39 assists and three aces (nine digs). Juniors Jordan Botsford and Kayla Lewis were credited with nine kills/10 digs and seven kills/13 digs respectively.

Sophomore Allegra Johnson produced an all-around game with seven kills, three aces, five digs and three blocks.

Hilbert finished the match earning double-digit kills in three of the four sets, hitting .400 percent to open the day.

The Hawks return to Hamburg for a tri-match on September 14^th when they host Houghton College at 10 am and Alfred University at 2pm. Both visiting institutions will battle each other at 12 pm.
