HAMBURG, NY - The 2013-14 edition of the men's and women's basketball seasons begin November 15. The Hawks are excited about the upcoming seasons and look forward to a packed Hawks Nest section providing energy during close games.

Rob Peterson's women's team tips-off tomorrow night against the host Hiram College in the Terrier Tip-Off Classic. The next morning, Hilbert will battle Heidleberg College at 1pm, while Hiram will play Pitt-Greensburg at 3pm.

The women's team celebrates their home-opener Tuesday, November 19th when they host Penn State Dubois at 7pm.

Rob deGrandpre's men's team takes the court for the first time at 8pm November 15 against Alfred State College in the 4th annual Hilbert Tip-Off Tournament. St. Lawrence University and Utica College are the other two opponents in the four-team tournament. The consolation game, featuring the lossers from Friday night's games, will be played at 1pm November 16th, while the winners move to the championship game at 3pm.

Admission to the Tip-Off Tournament is $5 per adult daily but Hilbert College students and faculty with ID are admitted free, as are children 10 and under with a paying adult.
