ERIE, PA – The Hilbert College women's soccer season came to an end tonight as the final horn sounded. Penn State Behrend, on the other hand, continues on in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play-offs as the number one seeded team with a 9-0 league record. Behrend scored three goals each half to earn a 6-0 victory over the 3-13 (1-8 AMCC) Hawks.

Sarah Schmidt led Hilbert's attack with a team-high four shots in her last game as a Hawk. Freshman
Jackie Morgan chipped in the only other attempt as Behrend controlled the pace of the game.
Erin Smith was credited with double-digit 14 saves after facing 20 shots on goal. The Lions unleashed 35 shots during the ninety-minute contest.
Sam Pace and Rachel Oelbracht each netted twice pushing the Lions to victory.
The 2013 AMCC women's soccer play-offs open this weekend with #6 Medaille battling #3 Pitt-Bradford while #5 Franciscan heads east to face Pitt-Greensburg November 2. The winners of the First Round games will move onto face the #1 Behrend or #2 D'Youville. Behrend will host the winner of Franciscan/Greensburg while D'Youville squares off against the winner of Medaille/Bradford.
The highest remaining seed after the semifinal games will earn the right to host the AMCC Championship game November 9.
