Scott Foster, who brings a variety of teaching and coaching experiences to Hilbert College, completed Amy Senefelder's basketball staff this 2017-18 season.
Foster, a 2015 graduate of The College at Brockport, has been actively involved working with youth in the Western New York Community. He served as a volunteer varsity basketball coach while still enrolled at Brockport but soon after graduation transitioned into the head junior varsity coach at Williamsville East High School as well as the head coach for both the 4th-6th and 7th-9th grade co-ed teams at the YMCA Independent Health Family Branch.
In 2018 Foster and his family created the Shane Foster Scholarship Fund in memory of Scott's younger brother Shane. The scholarship awards two high school seniors from Tonawanda High School and supports the athletics program at T.H.S. The Shane Foster Scholarship Fund also donates money to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention annually.
He is a United States Army Reservist having served from 2010-2016 in the 277th QM Co. as a Petroleum Supply Specialist.
