Pete Trzybinski begins his third overall season as assistant baseball coach. His responsibilities will include player development, recruiting and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program.
During the 2015 and 2016 summers, Trzybinski was an assistant baseball coach with the West Seneca American Legion Post #735. In 2015, his Post team won their second New York State championship. He was the head baseball coach of the West Seneca American Legion Post in the summers of 2013 and 2014. His 2013 squad captured its first ever New York State title and went on to a 2nd place finish in the Mid-Atlantic Regional, losing to eventual American Legion National Champion, Brooklawn (NJ) Post. During his two seasons as head coach, his team boasted a 55-12 record. From 2008-2012, he was an assistant coach with the Post where he helped guide the team to New York State tournament appearances in 2010 (2nd Place) and 2011 (4th place).
Additionally, Trzybinski has held coaching positions at Canisius College (2004-2006) and Team New Era Baseball (2004-2007). In his 13 years of coaching, Trzybinski has seen approximately 70 former players play at the collegiate level.
Trzybinski was a two-year letter winner at Niagara University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the School of Management at the University at Buffalo in 2004.
