Hilbert College Athletics

Junior Jerame Owens gathered another Hawk of the Week honor after his blistering effort as Hilbert went 1-1 during the week.  The 6-6 forward averaged 19.5 points (50% field goal) and 17.5 rebounds while collecting 2.5 blocks, 2.0 assists and one steal per game.  In Hilbert’s 100-98 double-overtime AMCC loss, Owens scored 20 points and grabbed 27 rebounds (10 offensive).  He was also credited with four assists, three blocks and two steals in 46 minutes of action.  Earlier in the week, the Spencerport native tossed in 19 points while pulling down eight rebounds and altering two blocks in Hilbert’s non-conference road win at Alfred State.
