Hilbert College Athletics

Amanda Binder picked up her second Hawk of the Week honor this year after leading the volleyball team to a 2-1 record in AMCC play last week.   The sophomore middle hitter led the Hawks in almost every category as she averaged 4.0 kills (2.92 attack percentage) 2.75 digs and 4.8 points per set to earn 57.5 total points on the week.  Binder added 8 total blocks and was second on the team in service aces and third in assists.  Hilbert opened the week with a loss to Brockport (10K/8d) before they went on a 2-1 AMCC winning track.  In the Hawks' victory over D’Youville, Binder hit .409 (11 kills) and then she posted 16 kills/12 digs/2 solo blocks in the win against Greensburg. Binder closed the week with another double-digit kill effort (11) in the team's first AMCC loss of the week.
