Ryan Spath earned his first Hawk of the Week honor in his sophomore campaign with the men's lacrosse team.
The 6-1 Pomperaugh High School grad (Southbury, CT) helped to lead the Hawks in a 1-1 week. Spath, last year's Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Newcomer of the Year and a North Eastern Athletic Conference Third Team All-Conference player, recorded a pair of hat tricks in the Hawks loss to the undefeated, league-leader, Morrisville State, before Hilbert claimed a road win at Alfred State.
Spath scored three goals off three shots on goal and led the Hawks with two caused turnovers through the midfield against Morrisville. He repeated that offensive production, (3-for-3) with another two caused turnover performance against the Pioneers from A-State.
Spath is currently second on the team in ground balls (as a field player), third in caused turnovers and third in goals scored.
