Hilbert College Athletics

Emma Gionta (Spencerport, N.Y./Spencerport) had a pair of 3-hit games this past week to lead the Hawks to victory in her final game at Hilbert.  Gionta  finished the week going 8 for 11 with a pair of doubles, one walk, six runs scored and two RBIs. Her top performance came in game two against Carlow University, when she went 3-for-4, which included one double while scoring two runs in the Hawks shutout victory over the Celtics. Her defensive coverage behind the plate helped Stephanie Mirras secure her second complete game and first shutout of the season.
